Tennis

I'm taking tennis lessons for the next five-ish weeks. Yesterday was my first day. I found out that I have horrible balance when it comes to standing on my right foot for more than 8 seconds. Also, that I have really bad, not just hand-eye, but foot-hand-eye coordination. It's hard for me to run, place my feet, swing a racket, and keep my eye on the ball all at the same time, in that very short time period that the ball has been thrown to me. But that could just be me.

*yawn*

this happened on the same night as the compost class. i was very out of it that night.

betsy: "amygrace, i was thinking that jonny and i would go play a game somewhere, on wednesday. would you like to come with us?"
amygrace: "okay, but not very many games house three people."
betsy: "what?! what is that supposed to mean?"
amygrace: "umm. i don't know. house as in hold? like it doesn't hold many people? there aren't very many [fun] games that three people can play. ..or something like that.."

i decided to get ready for bed at that point.

"zzzzzzz...."

betsy (who is reading a flyer about classes): "amygrace, do you want to take a compost class?"
amygrace (who is nearly asleep): *nods* "m hm."
betsy: *laughs* "do you know what compost is?"
amygrace: "m hm."
betsy: "amygrace, do you really want to take a class about composting things?"
amygrace: *wakes up* "huh? wait, what?"
betsy: *laughs at me again*

just goes to show you how fun i can be when i'm sick and tired. :)

Indiana Jones

So, I saw Indiana Jones the other day! I thought it was pretty sweet. I liked the older ones better, though. They were more believable, such as Nazis are real, where as aliens are not. Other than that, I like this one better. I don't know which I like better, they're all Indiana Jones, right? Therefor, they are all awesome! Although "Mutt's" (or was it Mud? anyway, Shia Labouf) hair was....bad....but it was very humorous how he obsessed over it. There are some surprises and one BIG surprise in it. At the end there is an indication that there could be a fifth movie. I hope that there is.

I have to go now. We're going to watch "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark." Fun times, my friend!
